Gazebo Harmonic
Current LTS release of the Gazebo robotics simulator (formerly Ignition Gazebo). Used widely for nav, manipulation, perception, and multi-robot scenarios. Successor to Gazebo Classic, which went EOL in 2025.
Why It Matters
Gazebo Harmonic is the default sim in most ROS2 teaching materials and tutorials. Hosted Roboticks sim runners ship a Gazebo Harmonic AMI with ROS2 bridges preinstalled.
How Roboticks Implements It
Hosted G4dn.xlarge spot fleet with NVIDIA T4 GPUs, warmed AMI for ~45s cold-start. World files live in customer repos. @requires_sim("gazebo") on a launch_testing scenario routes it to a Gazebo runner.
